Annual Reports

National Poison Data System

The American Association of Poison Control Centers would like to introduce you to the New Core System Database (NCSBeta), the only comprehensive poisoning surveillance database in the United States.  NCSBeta is a valuable resource for product safety managers, medical directors, regulatory affairs directors and other important decision-makers within industry.   Developed in 1983, the National Poisoning and Exposure Database contains detailed toxicological information on more than 24 million poison exposures reported to U.S. poison centers.  That includes more than 2 million reports to poison centers for 2000 alone, an estimated 96% of all poison exposures reported to poison centers in the U.S.

Effective February 26, 2007, requests for national datasets may be e-mailed to datarequests@aapcc.org.
